Congress commits to participate constructively in upcoming Parliament session

On Tuesday, the Congress announced its commitment to actively engage in the forthcoming special session of Parliament scheduled from September 18 to 22.

However, the party emphasized that it would not limit its participation to merely reciting the “Modi chalisa.” Instead, it insisted on addressing pressing public concerns throughout the five-day session.

This position was established during a strategy group meeting led by Sonia Gandhi, the Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party, and Mallikarjun Kharge, the party’s chief. The meeting was attended by leaders from both Houses of Congress.
